Happy Wednesday!

Today we are having a fun blog hop over at Jane's Doodles!  Jane is releasing 4 new stamp sets and the cute Peaceful Santa digital stamp that I used below.

Isn't he adorable?!!!  I colored him with copics.  He is so darn cute!

I used my Wink of Stella pen on the little blue cup.  It is so sparkly.

I used My Minds Eye, Merry Little Christmas paper pad for the snowflake paper.  I sewed around the main base and at the top of the image flag.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card, please leave a comment and hop on over to Cathy's blog and see what she has created.  Please leave a comment as you hop along for your chance to win the new release!  If you'd like to start at the begining of the hop you can by going to Jane's blog.

Pricilla Pie - Saturated Canary - Songbird Challenge #27

Hi ladies-

I have a sweet card to share with you today using Pricilla Pie by Saturated Canary for the Dancing Queen Challenge over at the Songbird Challenge Blog.

This is my first card as a design team member - whoo hooo!!! :)

I colored the image with copics and added lots of rhinestones!  I think the song fitting for her would be "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"  by Cyndi Lauper.  She looks like she is playing dress up.

Here is a little close up of my coloring and the bling.

I used the So Noted, Carta Bella Paper Pad for this card.  Please stop on by the Songbird Challenge Blog and join in on the Dancing Queen Challenge.

Thanks for visiting!

Bitty Bungalows - Paper Smooches (TPE223)

Happy Monday!

This week over at The Pink Elephant we have challenge #223 - Distressing/Paper Tearing for you!

Add our banner to your blog

I created a little scene using the Paper Smooches - Bitty Bungalows Stamp and Bungalows Dies set.

I used my Tim Holtz distressing tool around the edge of the card and on the little hills.  I used the MME, Lime Twist - Life of the Party paper pad.  After I distressed the edges, I sponged them with Tea Dye Distress ink.

I colored the little images with copic markers.  Usually I have such a hard time lining up stamps with the die cut image - not today!  Everything lined up perfectly the first time.  :)

I used the Wink of Stella pen on the heat in the sentiment and on all of the windows and doors.  I added rhinestones that I colored with my copics on the little trees.  The flower is from Prima.  I finished the card off with some hemp twine tied in a bow.

Don't forget to stop by the Pink Elephant Challenge blog and see what the design team has created!

Have a great day!

Happy Birthday - Papertrey Ink

Hi there,

I hope your all having a wonderful weekend.  I just got out of surgery a few days ago and am still very sore.  :(

I created a birthday card for my baby nephew who just turned 1 this weekend.  I tried to do a little video of the action wobble that I have used on the card front.

The theme for his birthday is the circus, so I tried to use bright colors.  I used MME's Hootenanny Paper pad.

I used Birthday's By the Numbers by Papertrey Ink for the main sentiment.

Here is the little video. (Sorry the video is not working)

Have a great rest of your day.

Gingerbread House - Jane's Doodles

Happy Friday!

I have a sweet card to share with you today.  I used the Gingerbread House from Jane's Doodles

I printed the image on Neenah Solar White paper and colored it with copic markers.  I used the Spiral Notebook die from Papertrey Ink to cut out the main image.

Here is a close up on the image.

The paper pad is The Sweet Stack from DCWV.  It worked perfectly with the little candy house.

I don't think you can see it very well in the pictures but I used the Wink of Stella pen on all the little "snow" pieces and on the candies.  I used the SSSC #195 sketch for this card.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pitcher - Saturated Canary

Hi ladies,

I have a CAS card to share with you today using a stamp I just purchased called Pitcher from Saturated Canary.

I colored the image with copics and used a 3 inch circle punch to punch it out.  The paper pad I used is from American Crafts and I can't find a name onit anywhere!  If anyone knows where to find the name on an American Crafts paper pad please educate me.

I ued the Wink of Stella pen (of course) on all of the red on this image and on her lips and the softball.  I really do like the sublte glitter it gives.

I have a small stash of colored sequins that I need to use, so I included a few

Have a good day!

Haunted House - (TPE222)

Hi there,

The first card that I made as a TPE designer is for the TPE222 Challenge.  The theme is Trick or Treat.  For my card I used a stamp that I purchased from Michael's for Halloween projects.  I embossed the haunted house and then used Faded Jeans, Scattered Straw, and Tea Dye distress inks around the image for a scary look.

I used my Fiskars cloud punches for the two clouds.  I popped the main image up on foam tape and tied the black twine bow with the sentiment and button.

Here is a close up of the embossed house.  I used the Wink of Stella pen on the moon and the windows.  The patterned paper is from DCWV - The Spooky Time Stack.

Lastly, I used a few enamel dots from MME for some interest.  Please join us for the challenge this week over on The Pink Elephant Blog and check out what the other talented designers have created!  This cad fits perfectly for the Simon Says Stamp challege here!

Fairy Tenderhearted - Tiddlyinks

Hey there ladies,

I have my new favorite card to share with you tonight.  :)  You know how you can make a card and just love it?  Well I love this card!  The image, how I colored it - the papers - everything!  I used a stamp I purchased over at TiddlyInks called Fairy Tenderhearted.

You can see for your self:

Isn't she gorgeous?  I used a We R Memory Keepers paper pad called Chalkboard.  I actually got it in my Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month Kit.  Beautiful shades of color in this pad.

I colored her with my copics and added the Wink of Stella pen to her wings and the flowers in her hair.

I distressed all the edges of the banners and the various layers.   I added some random rhinestones around her and popped up the main image on dimensionals.

I am entering this card in the Tiddly Inks Challenge #119 and the Fusion #19 Challenge.

Thanks for visiting.
